Retrospective
For the first 25-plus years of my career, I was blessed to be on the front lines of history, covering major events – such as the fall of the East Bloc in the late 1980s, Presidential elections, Nelson Mandella, world leaders (including 8 US Presidents) and CEOs of major corporations. I have covered Super Bowls, NCAA championships, NASCAR, the PGA Tour, LPGA and every day life. I was the first American photojournalist allowed to spend time on an East German Army base documenting daily life after the fall of the Berlin Wall. This work has won me awards, seen my photos on the covers of magazines and in publications around the globe. This is a small sample of some of my favorites from that time.
